Music Venues and Workshops for the under-privileged..
The homeless or under-privileged are very prone to suffer from anxiety and depression..
Over many decades, we have noticed how uplifted and positive these folk can become when they have access to one of the hundreds of Music Workshops that are maintained by the Salvos and other similar groups...
We propose the development of community centers that combine a welfare support venue with a music Workshop and a Food Hall with Music stage and equipment..
These 'VS Centers' would provide the following..
• A 365 day Licensed Family restaurant with low-priced meals and live music (chamber & variety - not rock)..
• A weekly Dance Hall (60s style)
• A weekly Concert hall for Rock or Jazz.
• A weekly Church hall.
• And, for the disadvantaged, a 365 day 'food hall' with free meals and evening live music from the same stage as above..
This hall faces the side of that stage but is not visible from the restaurant.
• The Center would also provide a showcase venue for talented music students and new bands.
• Daytime music schools and workshops.
• A showcase venue for talented Art students (Sculpture, Painting etc.) and Dance academies.
• The daytime 'food hall' would also provide an audience for under-privileged budding musicians (from the above mentioned music schools and workshops.)
