ScanVision handles 17 predefined objects. From scanned documents to video clips. New objects can be define with no limitation at all with STD and SBE versions.

Build-in OCR engine (STD and SBE)
It comes with a powerful OCR (Optical Character Recognition) engine for English, German, French, Swedish, Spanish, Danish, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch.
The result can be an ASCII file or a .rtf file (MS-Word compatible).

Build-in Backup and Restore
The backup process in ScanVision allows the user to save all information objects and the database in storage media of different formats.

Build-in Recycle Bin for added functionality
The Recycle Bin holds all objects that have been deleted from the system. All objects deleted will be kept intact and can be seen by the user.

Objects Database
ScanVision allows the management of information using storage structures such as Archives, Classifiers, Cabinets, Selections and Folders. Our database structure is specially designed to handle all kinds of objects. 

We use MS-Access as our database engine for LT and STD versions.
We use Sybase SQL Anywhere Studio as our database engine for SBE, designed to handle up to 5 million objects/images.

Import Objects
There are three ways to input objects into ScanVision: Importing e-Files, MS-Office Extensions and Scanning Documents.

E-Mail Objects
Within ScanVision you can use the e-mail profile defined in your PC to send any object from the ScanVision database.

Print/Fax Objects
Within ScanVision you can use the printer/fax defined in your PC to print/fax an object from the ScanVision database.

The user can select the objects in a Folder and then click the icon Print, or if the object to be printed is the one displayed in the viewer, the user needs only to click the icon Print.

Advanced Queries
ScanVision allows the user to search objects stored in the Vision2020 Database through a mix of different Keys or search criteria.

Annotation Tools, Notes, and object handling
ScanVision allows to annotate important information about objects. You can also highlight regions within the images, draw lines, different geometric shapes and stick adhesive notes and other operations.
